The website is published under the name aftergames. For questions about your data or to exercise your rights, email [email protected]. Hosting contact details appear in the legal notice.
Browsing and hosting
Cloudflare is the declared website host. Delivering and protecting the service may require processing your IP address, technical browser information and request information to operate, maintain availability and secure the website.
Retention of technical data depends on the Cloudflare services and settings used. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its processing and international transfer safeguards. We do not describe the hosting as exclusively located in the European Union.
Support messages
Contacting us opens your email service. We receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
We use this information to respond and follow up, based on our legitimate interest in communicating with users and providing assistance. It is intended for the person handling support and passes through email providers, including Google for our Gmail address.
Messages should be retained for the time needed to handle and follow up on the request. Separate retention may be necessary for legal obligations or disputes. Contact us to ask about retention for your request or to request deletion.
Preferences and analytics
The code of this version contains no advertising or analytics script. The theme picker uses browser local storage to remember your choice. Its operation and deletion are described under “Website theme”. Any technical mechanisms provided by the host are separate from this preference.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and the conditions set by the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability applies where its legal conditions are met.
Send requests to [email protected]. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary if there is doubt. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL or the competent supervisory authority.
Website theme
The theme picker saves your choice in this browser’s local storage under after-v2-theme, without a programmed expiry date. You can delete it with “Clear my saved choice” in the themes section, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Selecting another theme saves a new choice.
After – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how After ("we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the After app ("the App").
1. Information We Do Not Collect
After has no game server and does not receive player names, scores or settings on a server. Names, preferences and game statistics are saved on your device. In multiplayer, names and information needed for the game are exchanged with the other iPhones in the room. The room name and host name are advertised to nearby devices so they can discover games. You may use a nickname.
Local data remains on your device until you change it or delete the App. Deleting the App removes its local data; offloading the App does not. Any device backups are managed in Apple settings. You can revoke local network access in iOS settings.
2. Usage Data
We do not use analytics or tracking tools. Your usage of the App is private and not monitored by us.
In multiplayer, the App uses Apple’s Network framework to connect nearby devices directly over Wi-Fi, on a shared network or peer to peer. Game traffic does not pass through our servers.
3. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites (such as for contacting support or viewing terms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these websites.
In Speed Quiz, answers in the city category are sent to Apple’s geocoding service to check their validity. This check requires an internet connection. The App does not request your geographic location. We do not receive or retain these requests on an After server. If you contact support by email, we receive your address and the content you choose to send so we can reply.
4. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and updated with the effective date.
